Custom Tamper Evident Labels That Prove Opening on Sight
Factory-printed security seals for food, supplements, cosmetics and warranty-protected goods — VOID, destructible, security-cut and transfer facestocks, printed with your serials and brand artwork in one digital run.

Tamper Seals Across Five Programs
Five programs, one decision spine — the evidence you need decides the family.
Pharma & OTC
U.S. OTC rules (21 CFR 211.132) require tamper-evident features — we print the statement placement you specify.
Food Delivery
Closure seals for takeout and meal kits — torn edges tell the story before the first bite.
Jar Lid Seals
Connected lid-and-strip labels for honey, jam and supplement jars — one die-cut, one application.
Electronics Warranty
Warranty void if removed — each seal serialized so opened units stay traceable.
Resale & Returns
Swap-proof seals protect high-value goods through returns and resale cycles.

Four Tamper Behaviors, Four Kinds of Evidence
Choose by what the label leaves behind — the facestock family decides the evidence, the residue, and the surfaces it protects.
VOID Reveal
"VOID" appears on both the label and the surface the moment it is peeled — the evidence stays even if the seal is re-applied.
Sealed cartons · pharma OTC · jars
Destructible Eggshell
The label shreds into fragments as soon as it is lifted — it cannot come off in one piece, so it cannot be swapped.
Asset seals · electronics warranty
Security-Cut Polyester
Splits along checkerboard cut lines with clean edges — removal is obvious at a glance, and residue stays low.
Food delivery seals · retail resale
High-Tack Transfer
The adhesive layer transfers to the surface as a visible ghost — a one-way seal for evidence programs.
One-way seals · evidence programsAll four families print in one digital run — and each one is proofed on your surface before production.
Tamper Evident vs. Tamper Proof vs. Tamper Resistant
Buyers often mix these three words. Here is what each one really means for your order.
Opened = visible proof
Once the seal is removed, the evidence is there to see — VOID text, fragments, or a split line. Every facestock on this page works this way.
No label is truly "tamper proof"
No label makes removal impossible. When a supplier promises "tamper proof", ask what evidence the label leaves behind instead.
Resistant = slower, not proven
Harder to peel or cut, but it leaves no visible evidence by itself — usually paired with an evident facestock.
Simple rule: order by the evidence you want left behind — VOID, fragments, split, or transfer.
Lid Seals and Tamper Strips in One Die-Cut
Jar and bottle closures need one connected label, not two stickers that drift apart.
Lid seals and tamper strips can be die-cut as one connected piece at ±0.3 mm tolerance, with optional perforation along the strip.
- One connected kiss-cut — the lid circle and the strip release as a single label
- ±0.3 mm tolerance keeps the strip aligned to the cap seam on the line
- Optional perforation along the strip tears on first opening
- Typical jar geometry: a 60–70 mm lid circle joined to a narrow tamper strip, kiss-cut in one pass.
For glass-jar programs beyond tamper sealing, our labels for jars guide covers wrap formats and wholesale runs.
Bottle caps and metal pull-tight seals are hardware — outside this page's scope.
Facestock Routing for Six Packaging Surfaces
The same seal family behaves differently on different materials — routing happens before artwork.
| Your Surface | Routing | What to Watch |
|---|---|---|
| Paper cartons | General permanent adhesive; VOID families bond cleanly | Dusty recycled board — proof first |
| PE / PP bottles | Low-surface-energy adhesive match | Curved panels change contact area |
| Glass jars & bottles | High-clarity facestocks; non-transfer VOID | Condensation at filling lines |
| Metal tins & aluminum | Polyester films, ink planned for metal | Colors read differently on metal |
| Fiber & kraft | Aggressive tack for rough fibers | Edge lift in humid transit |
| Polished device surfaces | Non-transfer options only | Ghost risk — proof before rollout |
If seals have peeled off your plastics before, the usual culprit is surface energy — see preventing label peeling on LSE plastics for the mechanics.
Serial Numbers and Barcodes on Every Seal
Every seal can carry its own serial, Code 128, QR or Data Matrix code — printed with your artwork in one digital run, no plates, no per-SKU tooling.
Sequential Numbers
Unique numbers per seal, ganged with your brand labels in the same run.
Code 128 & QR
Scannable barcodes beside the VOID message, verified at proof stage.
Data Matrix
Dense codes for small seals — asset and warranty programs keep one label.
Variable-data depth and start numbers are confirmed at proof stage.

Brand Colors That Survive Silver Polyester
Metalized facestocks change how ink reads — color is planned before printing, not after.
Spectrophotometer readings during the run keep seal #500 as accurate as seal #1, and the color report ships with your order.
- ΔE-controlled runs across facestock families, including metalized polyester.
- Pre-press color talk for silver and metallic surfaces happens before artwork locks.
- Color report and optical scan records travel with every shipment; ΔE thresholds are agreed per program.
From Sample Proof to Sealed Delivery
You see the removal behavior before the run starts — not after the boxes land.
Every tamper-evident program here starts with a physical proof of the exact removal behavior.
Quote Path
Send surface and size direction; feasibility and quote path within about 12 business hours.
Print Proof
Physical proof on your real material and ink — approval locks facestock, serials and tolerance.
Production

Ship & Verify
Color report and optical scan records ship with machine-ready rolls.
Timelines assume proof approval; air freight is available for launch deadlines.

What to prepare:
- Surface description — material and finish
- Label size or geometry direction (not sure is fine)
- The removal behavior you expect
- Quantity per program
- Destination country
