Custom Serial Number Labels, Printed One Unique Number at a Time
Consecutive serial number labels printed from your Excel or CSV list — human-readable digits, Code 128 barcodes, or QR codes on rolls that feed your machines. From the first number to the last, no gaps, no duplicates.
Serial Number Labels Across Four Tracking Jobs
Labels with serial numbers earn their keep when one physical item must map to exactly one record. Pick the job that looks like yours.
Asset Tracking
Every laptop, pump, and tool maps to one number in your register.
Inventory Control
Consecutive number labels keep bins, counts, and cycle checks in sync.
Equipment & Maintenance
Serial tags carry warranty windows and service history machine by machine.
Product Serialization
Unique IDs pair with barcodes so every unit stays traceable after shipping.
Not sure which format fits? Send your tracking spreadsheet and prepress will map it to a label spec.
Your Number List Becomes Labels, One by One
Consecutive numbered labels are not a template job. Each label in the run carries its own code, printed inline from your data.
Send Your List
Excel or CSV, one number per row, with prefixes if you use them.
Prepress Check
Format, gaps, and duplicates are caught before any press run starts.
Inline Printing
The digital line prints each label with its own number and code.
Verify & Ship
Rolls are rebuilt to spec, checked against your list, and packed by range.
Send your number list as an Excel or CSV file, and prepress checks it for gaps and duplicates before every label prints with its own code.
The path applies to serialized runs driven by a number list.
Printing accuracy is confirmed by golden sample and span sampling, not promised as zero-error.
Define Your Number Range Before You Print
Custom sequential number labels start with five fields. Lock them once and the whole run follows.
| Spec Field | Example A | Example B | Example C |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start number | SN-0001 | B000001 | 1 |
| End number | SN-0500 | B010000 | 500 |
| Step | +1 | +1 | +2 (odd only) |
| Prefix | SN- | B | none |
| Digits & check digit | 4 digits, no check | 6 digits + check digit | 3 digits, no check |
Ranges like B000001 through B010000 arrive in real inquiries — bring yours and prepress will confirm the spec sheet with your quote.
Pair Serial Numbers with Barcodes or QR Codes
Human-readable digits cover the eye; a scannable code covers the gun. Most serialized runs carry both.
Human-Readable Only
Bold digits, no code — for manual logs and visual checks.
Code 128
The default for asset and logistics scanning — dense and reliable.
QR Codes
Smartphone scans pull full records without dedicated scanners.
DataMatrix & GS1-128
Small marks for dense plates and regulated supply chains.
Pair your serial numbers with Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 39, QR, DataMatrix, or GS1-128 barcodes, and send your scanner model if you are unsure.
Symbology choice follows your scanning environment, not the printer's preference.
GS1-128 application data comes from your side.

Materials That Keep Numbers Legible in Your Environment
A number that fades or peels breaks the traceability chain. Route the face stock to where the label lives.
Matte Paper
Dry indoor registers and office asset programs at the friendliest cost.
Synthetic (PP/PET Film)
Waterproof and tear-resistant numbered stickers for damp and busy hands.
Premium PET
Outdoor equipment and long-life assets that outlast years of weather.
For asset and equipment tracking, environment-matched adhesives reach peel adhesion of 18-22 N/25mm, confirmed in the technical specs that come with your quote.
Values apply to environment-matched adhesive routes selected for your application surface.
Low-energy surfaces need sample validation before a run.
Full immersion or outdoor exposure? The waterproof labels program adds laminate and testing detail.
Machine-Ready Rolls for Numbered Labels
Numbered labels on a roll only pay off when the roll feeds your applicator and the mark clears your sensor.
| Roll Parameter | Options | Set By |
|---|---|---|
| Core size | 76 mm (3"), 2", or 1" | Your applicator or printer spec |
| Unwind direction | Four orientations | How your machine pulls the web |
| Registration mark | Black mark or gap sensing | Your sensor type |
| Outer diameter | To machine max | Roll holder capacity |
| Large-core reels | For Zebra industrial printers | Printer model |
Rolls ship on 76 mm (3"), 2", or 1" cores, with large-core reels for Zebra industrial printers and unwind direction set to your applicator.
Choose cores and unwind direction by the applicator or scanner line the roll feeds.
Seven-inch cores are not offered.
For full roll specs across label types, the roll labels guide lists cores, directions, and diameters in one table.
First, Middle, and Last Labels Prove the Span
Consecutively numbered labels are accepted by span, not by spot checks. Pull the ends and the middle against your list.
First label confirms the start number, prefix, and digit width you specified.
Middle labels confirm the step held — no skipped or doubled numbers mid-run.
Last label confirms the run closed exactly on your end number.
Sequentially numbered labels ship with the range printed on the pack label, so your receiving team can verify without unrolling.
Serialized Runs Backed by Factory QC
Three gates stand between your number list and the shipping dock.
Prepress Data Check
Your Excel or CSV is validated for format, gaps, and duplicates before plates or files move.
Golden Sample Sign-Off
A printed sample with your start number is approved before the full run starts.
Span Sampling
First, middle, and last labels are pulled and matched to your list before packing.
An 18-year Shenzhen factory covering 15,000+ square meters runs flexo and letterpress printing, die-cutting, slitting and rewinding, prepress, and golden-sample QC for every serialized run.
Capacity and schedule are confirmed at quote time.
Daily output figures are not quoted on this page.
18 Years of Shenzhen Label Manufacturing
Serialization needs a plant that controls every step between your data file and the rewind bench.
Variable-data runs live or die on process control. Short pilot rolls print on the digital line; when your program scales, flexo takes over at a lower unit price — same floor, same QC bench.
- Digital line for 500-label pilots, flexo for large programs
- One golden-sample bench signs off every new number range
- Rolls packed and labeled by range for fast receiving checks
- DDP or FOB export routing from Shenzhen
