Custom Canning Jar Labels That Stay On Through Canning Season
Factory-printed lid-top circles, full wraps, and front labels for jam, pickle, honey, and sauce jars — waterproof BOPP or vinyl, batch numbers included, delivered as rolls or sheets.
Labels for Jam, Pickle, Honey, and Sauce Jars
Your jars live in steamy kitchens, cold fridges, and crowded market crates. These four lines are what we print most — pick yours to see how format and material change.
Jam & Jelly
Fruit-heavy artwork with ingredient panels; fridge life measured in months, not weeks.
Pickles & Relish
Brine, wet hands, and heavy handling — wraps and front labels that keep their edge seal.
Honey & Syrup
Lid-top circles plus a wrap for batch and origin — the pairing honey makers order most.
Sauces & Salsas
Oil splash and heat-level callouts on curved glass; ink that stays readable jar after jar.
Label Formats for Regular and Wide-Mouth Jars
The jar decides the label. Match your jar mouth to a lid-top size, your jar circumference to a wrap, and your shelf presence to a front panel.
Lid-Top Circle
Stacked pantry jars — read the top without lifting.
Full Wrap
Face-out mason jars; branding on curved glass.
Front Panel
Market tables where one clean face sells the jar.
Lid + Side Pair
Storage and sales from the same batch.
Die-cut accuracy holds to ±0.3 mm, so lid-top circles and wrap labels seat cleanly on regular and wide-mouth jars. The ±0.3 mm tolerance covers standard circle, oval, and rectangle die cuts. Custom die shapes beyond the library open a new tooling line in your quote.
Batch Numbers and Dates Without Extra Plates
Canning lots need dates; cottage-food rules and wholesale orders ask for batch IDs. Print them on the label instead of writing them by hand.
One run, every lot different
- Variable-data printing adds batch numbers and canning dates on the same digital run — no separate plate cycle for each SKU.
- Variable fields run on digital orders.
- Field positions are locked in your layout proof before press time.
- Send a spreadsheet of lot codes, or let the press increment a pattern — jar 1 and jar 2,000 stay traceable.
Materials Engineered for Canning Jars
Every competitor says "waterproof." What matters is matching the facestock and adhesive to the path your jars actually travel.
White BOPP — the condensation workhorse
Printed jam-jar labels pulled from a fridge or a summer market crate meet water on glass. BOPP shrugs it off and keeps ink crisp under the film.
Clear BOPP & vinyl — the no-label look
For honey and small-batch gift lines where the product shows through. Same moisture resistance, with permanent adhesive that bonds to glass and metal lids.
Food-contact basics, sorted per order
Facestocks follow food-safe material practices for label surfaces; adhesive pairing is matched to your storage path, not picked from a default roll.
Every canning jar label runs on waterproof BOPP or vinyl with adhesives matched to your storage path. Applies to BOPP and vinyl canning and mason jar label programs. Adhesive pairing is confirmed per order — no fixed temperature rating without your spec sheet.
Run a Full Seasonal Line in One Order
Strawberry in June, dill pickles in August, hot sauce in September — your flavors do not arrive one at a time, and your labels should not ship that way either.
Your season, ganged
Digital presses run each design from 500 labels — a full seasonal line gangs onto one order. The 500-per-design minimum applies to the digital route. Larger volumes route to flexo; final pricing comes with your quote.
Why ganging changes your math
- Four separate sticker shops mean four proofs, four minimums, and four shipping fees.
- One ganged order runs every SKU in the same color-managed press pass.
- Delta E checks keep your berry red identical across the whole shelf.
- Archived files drop into the next run with the same color targets.
From Proof to Shipped Order
No mystery quotes, no surprise proofs. Here is exactly how a canning label order moves.
1. Send Jar Specs
Jar mouth, label spots, quantity per flavor, artwork or a sketch.
2. Proof and Approve
A printed proof on your actual facestock — you approve colors, batch fields, and the die line before press time.
3. Press Run
Ganged digital run with Delta E checks on shared brand colors.
4. QC and Ship
Die-cut and color reports travel with the shipment; DDP or FOB to your door.
Printed proofs run on your real facestock, standard runs ship in 4–5 working days after approval, and quotes land within 12 business hours. These terms apply to standard service. Lead time excludes international transit; rush and air-freight options are quoted per case.
One Shenzhen Factory, One Quality Standard
An 18-year label factory in Shenzhen runs flexo and HP digital presses across 15,000 m² — one site for prepress, printing, and QC. Factory scope and equipment are as stated in company records. Capacity allocation and lead times are confirmed per order window.
Roll or Sheet Delivery for Your Line
Hand-sticking jars at a market table and feeding a benchtop applicator are two different jobs. Pick the format that matches your line.
Rolls — for applicators
Machine-ready rolls for benchtop and inline labelers, checked against your gear before we cut a single label.
- 3", 2", and 1" cores for automatic applicators
- Send your applicator model, roll diameter, unwind direction, and max OD
- We match against 127+ machine profiles to avoid jams and misfeeds
Sheets — for hand-labeling
Lid circles and front panels on sheets, ready for market-day speed with a peel-and-stick rhythm.
- Mixed circles and rectangles on one sheet layout
- Easier storage between canning weekends
- Running a generic glass-jar line too? See the jar-label hub for non-canning formats
