Storefront Window Decals at Work Across Your Locations
Four jobs business window decals do every day — and what each one asks from the material.
Seasonal promotions
Opaque full-window graphics that stop foot traffic — sale launches, holiday campaigns, and grand openings with your boldest artwork.
Branding & business hours
Logos, hours, and door notices on clear or white vinyl — the permanent identity layer that stays readable after the promo comes down.
Office & interior glass
Suite numbers, wayfinding logos, and partition graphics for lobbies and meeting-room glass your staff walk past every day.
Multi-store rollouts
Same artwork, matched color, shipped to every location — one production run keeps the campaign look identical across the chain.
Need graphics underfoot too? See our custom floor decals for matching floor campaigns.
Pick the Right Decal Form for Your Glass
Four common storefront jobs, one row each — read down your goal and off the recommended form, mount side, and adhesive.
| Your goal | Best form | Mount side | Adhesive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boldest promotion art on the street | Opaque vinyl — full-color, blocks the view both ways | Outside (first-surface) for maximum color punch | Permanent |
| Logo that keeps the view | Clear vinyl — artwork floats on transparent film | Either side works | Permanent or removable |
| Advertise outside, see the street inside | Perforated one-way film* | Outside | Permanent |
| Short campaign on leased glass | Opaque or clear | Inside (second-surface) — print protected behind the glass | Removable |
* Perforated material is confirmed per project — send your glass size and goal, and the film spec is confirmed with your quote. Not sure which row fits? Describe the glass and what you want passersby to see, and you get a recommendation with the open questions listed.
Built to Survive Sun and Squeegees
Durability is a construction decision, not a marketing word — here is what sits between your ink and the street.
Every storefront decal we print runs a vinyl face film plus a gloss or matte overlaminate that shields the ink from sun and window cleaning.
Gloss keeps colors punchy under streetlights; matte cuts glare on west-facing glass.
We do not promise a fixed UV-year number — supplier test files are available on request.
Outside mount · first-surface
Ink faces the street directly — the most saturated color you can get, with the laminate taking the weather.
Inside mount · second-surface
Printed in reverse and mounted behind the glass — protected from weather and tampering, ideal for leased storefronts.
From Your Artwork to a Printed Window Decal
Four steps from file to finished decal — with the tolerances your installer will care about.
Send your artwork
Vector files preferred; photos or a described idea work to start — files can follow before production.
Approve a printed proof
A proof on your actual material and ink confirms color before anything runs at volume.
Print & laminate
Flexographic or HP digital presses lay the ink; gloss or matte overlaminate seals it against sun and cleaning.
Contour cut & ship
Logos and free-form shapes are cut to contour, then packed and shipped to your locations.
Tolerances apply to our contour-cutting and print QC process, and contour cutting covers logos and free-form shapes on vinyl.
See our die-cut label capabilities for tolerance details on contour work.
Full-Window Graphics Printed in Aligned Panels
Storefront window graphics bigger than one sheet are standard practice here — paneled, registered, and aligned.
- Panels sized to your glass — whole-facade window graphics print in panels matched to each pane.
- Registration marks keep panels aligned — installers line up the marks and squeegee out, panel by panel.
- One continuous image — the artwork reads as a single graphic across panes and mullions.
- No single-width limit is claimed or needed — coverage scales by panel count, not press width, so a three-meter storefront and a single door decal run through the same workflow.
Running a mixed campaign? Pair window graphics with custom vinyl stickers for handouts and product tagging.
Multi-Location Orders, One Production Run
Chain programs are organized as one order, not one-off uploads per store.
One order, every location
Digital runs start at about 500 pieces per design, and multi-location storefront programs combine into one order.
Panels, sizes, and forms for different locations can share one order.
Smaller runs are negotiable for simple sticker jobs.
Matched color across stores
Same production run means same ink batch — the campaign looks identical in every window, not close-enough per store.
Quantity tiers that reward scale
Per-piece economics improve as the program grows; tier structure is quoted with your quantities and locations.
Confirm Color on a Printed Proof First
A screen mockup cannot tell you how brand color sits on vinyl in afternoon light — a printed proof can.
A print proof uses your actual material and ink, so you approve color on the real stock before mass production.
You review the proof, then mass production starts.
The proof fee is quoted with your proof request.
Hold it against your glass, check it in daylight, compare it with your brand palette — then the full run prints to the approved reference, and the batch ships with a color report and optical scan record so your installer can verify on arrival.
Production and Delivery You Can Schedule Around
Store openings and campaign launches run on dates — here is the rhythm you plan against.
1Feasibility reply
About 12 business hours after your inquiry — the form, mount, and quoting path.
2Proof approval
Your printed proof arrives, you approve color and the run is locked.
3Production
Standard production runs 4 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, and air freight is available when your opening date is tight.
4Freight to your doors
FOB or DDP to your markets; multi-store programs can ship in location-ready sets.
The clock starts after you approve the proof, and working days exclude international shipping time.

Prepare These Seven Details for Your Quote
Seven details turn a first message into a quoting path — unknowns are fine, they get resolved in the reply.
Glass size or photo
Width and height per window, or a photo with a reference object — unknown sizes start with a photo.
Mount side
Inside or outside the glass — not sure, say what you want protected and we recommend.
Decal form
Opaque, clear, or perforated — describe the goal if the form name is new to you.
Artwork
Vector files preferred; describe the idea now and attach files before production.
Quantity & locations
Pieces per design and the number of stores — this structures the ganged order.
Lease & adhesive
Permanent or removable expectation — leased glass usually means removable.
Needed-by date
Opening or campaign date, so production and freight are planned backwards from it.
